Worried about safety while driving? Then RescueCar should put your mind at
rest. It鈥檚 a set of sensors and devices that records everything that happens
during an accident, and even sends for help over the mobile phone network. An
accelerometer records the impact of a crash, while pressure sensors in the
driver鈥檚 seat monitor your position. Sensors on the seat-belt holder reveal
whether you were belted up properly, and a tiny camera records the chaos that
ensues after the smash. The prototype technology from the Ford Motor Company can
be fitted to any make of car.
