A digital version of Post-it notes has been developed by researchers at IBM
Almaden. The D-Note is a screen the size of a credit card that can display
downloaded text or pictures. An adhesive backing means you can stick the
portable D-notes anywhere鈥攖o the back of someone else鈥檚 chair, for
example. So far, they are only experimental. 鈥淲e have the technology to make
D-notes,鈥� says IBM鈥檚 Paul Maglio, 鈥渂ut first we want to figure out how people
will use them.鈥�
