A hula-hoop that monitors your hip-gyrating fitness regime has been launched
by a Korean company. An array of soft plastic pressure sensors around the inner
rim of Lento鈥檚 patent-pending Magic Hoop keeps track of how many times the hoop
has spun round. It also works out how long you鈥檝e kept it spinning, how many
calories you鈥檝e burned, and even how many millimetres you鈥檝e trimmed off your
waist in the process. Distributors are being sought outside Korea. 鈥淭his is
going to catch on worldwide,鈥 says Lento.
