wildlife photographs鈥攊s being launched by Panasonic of Japan. The
$999 PalmCam can record ten seconds of high-quality video or 1500
high-quality still pictures. The camcorder records onto a SuperDisk, a very
high-density removable disc that stores 120 megabytes of data. Panasonic鈥檚 arch
rival, Sony, is launching its own $2300 MiniDisc camcorders next year
offering 10 to 20 minutes of video recording.
