THE Global Internet Project (GIP) is also looking to the future. The organisation was established by the chief executives of 16 of the largest computer networking companies. It was established to work towards removing barriers to the international growth of the Net. The GIP Web site has a 鈥渢oday and tomorrow鈥 section at http://www.gip.org/GIP2A.HTM that considers impending policy and technology changes. It is lucidly written and upbeat.
