ONERA is France鈥檚 answer to NASA. You can catch up on its space activities
at the exhibition at La Cit茅 des Sciences et de l鈥橧ndustrie in Paris to
mark ONERA鈥檚 50th birthday. The exhibition, which runs from 13 December to the
end of June 1997, celebrates ONERA鈥檚 part in the development of the Mirage
fighter jet, Concorde, the Airbus airliners and Ariane rockets. Displays will
include a windtunnel and the 鈥渆cho-free鈥� chamber used to identify the unique
radar signatures of various flying objects.
