AMERICAN freedom of speech activists were celebrating last week after the
Communications Decency Act was declared unconstitutional. The Act was drawn up
by right-wingers who wanted to make it an offence to place 鈥渋ndecent鈥� material
on the Internet (Netropolitan, 25 May, p 27).
