Vivette O’Donnell, who founded The Campaign Against Bullying in 1983, now writes Bullying: A Resource Guide for Parents and Teachers (Attic Press, Dublin, £7.99, ISBN 1 85594 175 9), a comprehensive guide to elucidate and encourage shifts in anti-social behaviour. She is sometimes repetitive and wanders into irrelevant subject areas, but overall offers some pernicious and creative insights into the human psyche based on obvious experience.
