Men with vasectomies live just as along as those without, according
to a study by researchers at the Channing Laboratory in Boston, US. Unlike
earlier, smaller studies, the study found that men with vasectomies were
no more likely to develop testicular or prostate cancer. A higher rate of
lung cancer among men who had had vasectomies more than 20 years earlier
was offset by a lower rate of cardiovascular disease.
